Steps for hosting a Donation Drive
1. Check Space for Donation Bin(s)
To host a donation site, the location must have adequate space to fit a minimum of one collection bin.
2. Poster, Flyer, or Newsletter
Create and design a poster, flyer or space in the newspaper to advertise and specify what items you need.
3. Set up Start and End Dates
Work with the charity or company to agree on a clear time frame for donations. We suggest keeping the bin out for at least one week to give people enough time to donate items.
4. Get Donating!
Spread the word and encourage friends, family, and your community to donate items to help make your drive a success.
